Niru is a Commercial and Property Solicitor advising on a broad range of transactions, including residential and commercial conveyancing, leasing, business acquisitions and property development. He acts for developers, investors, landlords, tenants and private individuals, with a reputation for delivering commercially sound, solutions-focused advice on high-value and time-sensitive matters.

Niru also assists clients with asset protection and succession planning, covering trusts, wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney, and advises on relationship property agreements with a focus on protecting client interests and achieving durable outcomes.

Niru grew up in picturesque Taupō and completed his Bachelor of Laws at the University of Waikato. He speaks fluent English and Sinhala, and is an active member of the Sri Lankan community in Auckland and Hamilton. Outside the office, you'll find him either on a snowboard or in the kickboxing gym.
