Julie Bremner
LLB, B.Com
Julie is originally from Taranaki and graduated from Otago University with a Law and Commerce degree. She has worked in the greater Auckland area now for over twenty years predominantly in Family, Property, Estate and Elder Law. Julie is also a court appointed lawyer for the subject person under the Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act and as such she is experienced in dealing with elder law and medical legal issues. Julie is able to receive appointments in this capacity from courts all over Auckland and Taranaki. Julie is passionate about helping her clients navigate and giving them support during the legal adventures in their lives.
Whilst Julie now lives in the Franklin area, she still has many clients all over the Auckland area and also is the Chairperson of the North Shore Women’s Centre a position she has retained for over five years.
Outside of work Julie enjoys spending time with her extensive blended family and friends and is also partial to taking on new interests such as candle making. Julie’s partner is Samoan and a former professional Rugby League player for both Samoa and the Warriors – so many winter weekends are spent watching Rugby League – although the rules of the game (if there are any?) remain a mystery to her.
