Base Law was established by Suzie Sneddon, a mother of two young children who desired being able to continue with her career and passion for helping clients, while also having the time and energy to be a great mother for her children.

As a senior lawyer, it is a huge commitment to buy into a partnership in a law firm, but it can be rather frustrating always working under others, and the thought of going out on your own can be incredibly overwhelming.

Base Law is structured very differently from your standard law firm. Each lawyer is qualified to practice on their own account, but we come under the umbrella of Base Law which allows each of us to work with autonomy at partnership level, while still having other senior solicitors to bounce questions off and share costs and resources.

WORKING UNDER THE BASE LAW UMBRELLA OFFERS YOU THE BEST OF ALL WORLDS.

If you are a senior lawyer in the private client sector in New Zealand and believe you are likeminded to us, then contact Suzie to discuss how you can also have autonomy, work-life balance and the freedom to earn as much or as little as your lifestyle allows or requires, while continuing to do what you love.
